HOUSTON, TX Terminal
Located at 2631 Appelt Dr, Houston, TX 77015, our storage and transportation facilities are centrally located between:
- Laredo: 160 miles to the West
- San Antonio: 160 miles to the NW
- Austin: 190 miles North
- Houston: 200 miles to the NE
This convenient location offers tank storage and several convenient modes of transportation. We also have available land for hydrocarbon processing or upgrading facilities.
Tanks
Our facility includes access to 31 tanks over 9,500,000 barrels of storage capacity on 139 acres. Tanks can be modified to meet any customer needs and are all maintained and certified to meet API 653 standards.
Truck
Trucks are handled both inbound and outbound at the facility. All loading has containment. The facility has a truck scale and meters on many of the rack spots.
Rail
The Union Pacific rail connection is less than a mile from the terminal. The UP rail identifier is BTB Refining Operating tracks 722 and 723, mile post 23.29 on the Kosmos Industrial Lead.We have the ability to steam heat railcars.
Barge
The barge dock is located on the Intracoastal Waterway at mile post 538 and accommodates barges with up to a 10-foot draft and 30,000 barrels.

AmSpec, LLC staffs an on-site lab which provides the product testing necessary for the storage and transportation of such products as:

Boiler
The facility tankage is insulated and tanks are equipped with steam coils. The 150hp boiler is propane fired. Tanks can be maintained at temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Truck Scale
The facility has installed and certified (for custody transfer) a truck scale to assist with operations and for third party (fee) usage.

South Corpus Rail Terminal
Corpus Christi and BTB have positioned ourselves as a conduit connecting a growing South Texas market to the international market through product diversification, built-for-purpose infrastructure and efficient port operations:
- Hwy 44: Less than one mile
- I-37 / Hwy 358 interchange: 3.5 miles
- Ingleside: 27 miles
Corpus Christi is the primary destination for Permian and Eagle Ford Crude Oil products with the lowest cost structure considering wellhead to end market demand centers. BTB offers producers, refiners, and traders flexible solutions for multi-grade storage and access to deep water export markets.
BTB Refining is offering truck trailer to manifest railcar trans loading service for petroleum and chemical products by the end of 2021. The facility is under construction, but we are currently taking reservations for Phase 1. Our facility is easily expandable to accommodate additional business.
